i now this mite sound silly but whats the best way to get rid of stale water in the washer bottle. i have used up the water by washing the windscreen and then filled up but still there apart from getting the hose pipe or jet wash out and in the process drowning the engine (best not to go there) is there any other way? ;)

I have used some kind of water pipe purifier on the internal water supply pipes of my caravan with a fair degree of success, you should be able to pick some up from camping/caravanning shop. You put it in the main reservoir, circulate it through the pipes then leave for 24 hours and flush out.

Milton's Fluid works fine.

p.s. don't use the cheapo halfrauds washer fluid as it stinks after a while and takes ages to get rid of the smell.

thanks for that while ive got the week off from work will try the milton way was your washer bottle empty when you put it in for best results
